A) INSTRUCTIONS
1. Only Seafarer's who are Serving are eligible for this scheme.
2. For applying for any welfare scheme the seafarer should apply within 2 years from the last Sign-Off date.
3. The scheme is applicable only for the Academic Year - (
2026-2027
).
4. The last date for submitting completed applications is - (
28/02/2027
).
5. The maximum number of children that can avail the scheme is:
Two
6. The amount of grant to each eligible child is
Rs. 3000/-
.
7. This grant is given to children studying in class.
Jr. Kg. up to 12th STD
.
8. To update your Address and / or Contact details please contact the office staff of the NMB Rehabilitation and Welfare Trust for Seafarers and ask them to do the needful before you submit your online application form.
B) DOCUMENTS TO BE UPLOADED
1. Seafarer's CDC with validity page in PDF file format.
2. Seafarer's SID in PDF file format.
3. Seafarers PAN Card in PDF format.
4. Seafarer Last Sign On / Off page in PDF file format.
5. Only seafarer's Saving Bank Account Cheque and Pass Book is accepted (
NRE account NOT acceptable
).
6. Child's Birth Certificate in PDF file format.
7. Child's Aadhaar Card in PDF file format.
8. Child's school Admission Fee Receipt for Academic Year (2026-2027)
OR
Bonafide Certificate of child in PDF file format.
